Jewish Medical Ethics
Judaism has much to teach us about many subjects. Each subject is relevant in its own way to our lives in modernity. One of those subjects is the study of Medical Ethics. From ancient times to the present we have an abundance of literature about MedicalEthics.
We learn about the value of human life: Whose life is more important? What do we do about different opinions, and when is a life is no longer a life? We can extrapolate modern issues that did not exist in ancient times. Yet we still have a body of rulings on which to rely because we need answers as we approach modern issues like vaccines, invitro-fertilization, euthanasia, advanced directives, abortion and so on. This course will open a window for you to a world not often taught in synagogues. Please join us.
